Countdown to Cotton Fest 2025 begins
The anticipation for Cotton Fest 2025 is officially building, with organizers revealing the first batch of artists set to take the stage.
Scheduled for Saturday, 26 April, this year’s festival promises to deliver an even bigger and better experience, blending music, fashion, and sports into a cultural spectacle like no other.
Since its inception, Cotton Fest has grown into a movement that bridges different musical styles, giving artists from various genres a space to unite and perform.
It remains a dynamic platform where both seasoned icons and emerging talents come together to celebrate creativity and self-expression.
Honoring the vision of its late founder, Riky Rick, the festival continues to uplift young talent while staying true to the culture he passionately cultivated.
Bianca Naidoo, Cotton Fest organizer and Riky Rick’s wife, reaffirmed this commitment: “In an ongoing commitment to honour Riky Rick’s legacy and his belief in young people, Cotton Fest continues to stand as a testament to this. The first phase of the lineup features a powerhouse selection of artists across various genres, from hip-hop heavyweights to amapiano stars and rising names in the industry.
The confirmed list includes A-Reece, Asianwockstar, Baby Daiz, Babylowsk1, Babble Hume, Blxckie, Brotherkupa, Cassper Nyovest, Ch’cco, Cowboii, Diorsantana, DBN Gogo, Focalistic, Jaykatana, Kabza De Small, Kane Keid, Kamo Mphela, Klllbrady, Kindlynxsh, K.O, Kmat, Leemckrazy, Lia Butler, Love Tumi, Okmalumkoolkat, Parkervs, RatiSupremacy, Scotts Maphuma, Sjava, The Qwellers, Tony Dayimane, Usimamane, Uunathi, Vigro Deep, Young Stunna, and Ziggy4x.
Beyond the performances, this year’s festival carries an extra layer of significance for fans of Riky Rick. His influence will be celebrated not just through the festival, but also with the release of his posthumous album, Boss Zonke Forever, set to drop on Friday, 4 April.
