In under two years, Kaizer Chiefs have signed two attacking players from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
It started with the striker/winger Christian Saile, and then in January with the lanky winger Glody Lilepo. According to this new report, Kaizer Chiefs now have eyes on a Congolese attacking midfielder named Maxi Ngenzeli from Young Africans in Tanzania.
Ngenzeli will not be new to coach Nasreddine Nabi. The Tunisian mentor fine-tuned the goal-scoring midfielder in the 2021/22 season at Yanga.

Remember last week’s report on Kaizer Chiefs and Mihlali Mayambela? Has his older Mark, just delivered an exciting update for Amakhosi supporters?
As reported last week, Kaizer Chiefs got linked with another high-profile winger. It was Mihlali Mayambela, who plays for Aris Limassol and Bafana Bafana.
The report said the 28-year-old from Khayelitsha is setting his sights on returning to South Africa since moving to Europe as a teenager nine years ago.
According to iDiski Times’ Sinethemba Makonco, Mayambela is keen on playing for Kaizer Chiefs, a team he represented at under-15 level.
