KwaZulu-Natal will experience cooler temperatures and cloudy skies today. Despite the cloud cover, no rain is expected.
Cloudy conditions dominate coastal areas
Coastal cities like Durban will see overcast conditions for most of the day, with a high 23°C forecast. The cloudiness will stretch into Pietermaritzburg and other inland areas, although temperatures will remain mild.
“Conditions will be cloudy and cool, especially over Durban and coastal areas,” said weather forecaster Mpho Rasimphi.
“We’re expecting a high of 23°C in Durban and 22°C.”
Rain holds off in KZN
Unlike the Eastern Cape, which may receive scattered rainfall, KwaZulu-Natal is not forecast to get significant rain today. However, overcast skies may persist through most of the afternoon.
