Chrissy Teigen is sharing exciting news for her fans who were worried about her health as the public figure reveals that she has been vape-free for 14 days.

According to PEOPLE, Chrissy Teigen shared a now unavailable Instagram story where she revealed the happy news. The publication has provided a screenshot of the story.

In the story, there was a notification stating “Good morning Chrissy T, you have been vape free for 14 days 22 hours and 31 seconds.”

Under this screenshot, Teigen wrote, “I’m sooo happy to not be tethered to this f**king beast [meaning vaping] anymore!!!”

Her clear happiness reflects her intention to keep going on this journey, especially since she is using an application to help her know how long she has stopped vaping.

Chrissy Teigen battling e-cigarette addiction

Chrissy Teigen has always been honest about her e-cigarette addiction. The 39-year-old has been trying to quit in recent months.

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), “no tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, are safe.” They also state that “Most e-cigarettes contain nicotine, which is highly addictive and is a health danger for pregnant women, developing fetuses, and youth.”

In addition to this, the CDC made it clear that Aerosol from e-cigarettes contains harmful substances that include cancer-causing chemicals.

Fans were also happy for Teigen and Legend when they celebrated his birthday in 2024.

In addition to quitting vaping, Teigen has previously announced that she quit smoking as well.

Teigen quitting smoking

The mother of four recently revealed that she quit smoking. She revealed this during an interview with Access Hollywood on 2 March 2025 at the 2025 Oscars Vanity Fair red carpet.

When asked by the reporter about her first drink of choice, Chrissy Teigen said that she had been “furiously chewing Nicotine gum” to treat her cigarette addiction.

According to the CDC, nicotine gum is an FDA-approved aid that can help people quit smoking. It is one of the many ways people try to quit smoking.

“It [nicotine gum] can be used every 2 hours by itself to control withdrawal symptoms, or it may be used as needed for stronger cravings when used in combination with a nicotine patch,” said the CDC.

Chrissy Teigen’s Advice

During the same interview, Teigen advised her fans, saying, “Don’t smoke. Smoking is bad. Stop now if you can.”

“I’ve been an on-and-off smoker for too long. I have stopped for the last time, and I’m very proud of myself. But I’m also extremely on edge,” she shared.

Fans are also proud of Teigen’s journey so far, especially since she has previously quit drinking alcohol.

Quitting Alcohol as well

Chrissy Teigen’s addiction journey is inspiring to many. She seems to be making a lot of effort to remain healthy, as she has taken several steps to make this happen. In addition to quitting vaping and smoking, Teigen had previously quit alcohol as well.

In 2022, Teigen shared an Instagram reel where she shared how she had been alcohol-free for 365 days back then.

“Not a drop of alcohol in 365 days! I miss feeling loopy and carefree sometimes, but to be honest toward the end, it didn’t give that fun feeling anymore anyhow. I drank to end crazy anxiety that later mostly went away when I – get this – quit drinking! Sigh,” she wrote.

Teigen also stated that she doesn’t know if she will drink again. However, she wrote, “I do know I never want to be that way again. And for now, none is best. I’ll let the bad dreams come up and try to sort them out in therapy, without booze.”
