A church is meant to be a sanctuary of peace, prayer, and reflection—a place where people gather to find solace, not conflict.
However, that sense of sacred calm was shattered when a brawl erupted during a Methodist church service, shocking both attendees and those who viewed the footage online.
The video, posted on X by @pmcafrica, shows a scene of chaos as a fight broke out in the middle of the congregation, a woman can be heard saying, “We are fighting for our rights; we are fighting for our church,” while tensions escalated. Moments later, a man appears on camera saying, “Ndizokukhaba manje” (“I will beat/kick you now”), leaving many wondering how such an altercation could occur in a house of worship.
