Cape Town City offer Sundowns FOUR youngsters for R60 million

Cape Town City have reportedly offered FOUR of their exciting youngsters to Mamelodi Sundowns at a massive R60 million.

Those youngsters are Emile Witbooi (16), Shakel April (19), Jody Ah Shene (19) and Jaedin Rhodes (22).

This is according to iDiski Times, who reports that City appear keen on using the quartet to raise funds after their relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Nonetheless, even in the events that both City and Sundowns strike a deal, the four players would first still have to agree to it.

Witbooi, April and Ah Shene were recently crowned African champions after winning the U20 Africa Cup of Nations trophy with Amajita.

Rhodes, on the other hand, is a talented attacker who proved key for City with nine goals in his 87 topflight matches.

The quartet would have to make smart decisions on their future if they no longer see their futures with City.

And this is because of the quality that the current Sundowns squad possesses and the expections thereof.

City have already lost a few of their experienced stars with Thabo Nodada the latest to leave following in the footsteps of the likes of Thamsanqa Mkhize and Darren Keet among others.
