Zakwe’s long-overdue musical return is finally picking up momentum, and he’s not walking the road alone.
Big Zulu has stepped in, not just as a collaborator, but as a brotherly force of motivation.
Fans got a taste of what’s coming when Zakwe shared a snippet of an unreleased song featuring Big Zulu, sparking excitement across social media.
Alongside the clip, Zakwe poured out his emotions, writing: “mina ngase….. ngithembile!!!! ey ngoba nganginethemba mntanomuntu”, a heartfelt reflection on the hope and patience that’s carried him through the delays.
In a gesture that speaks volumes, Big Zulu reposted the same video and revealed plans to whisk Zakwe away to a special studio camp next week in the Khahlamba mountains.
The serene retreat will serve as the final push to complete an album that has been in the works for years.
