BBMzansi’s Ashley Ogle gets emotional after fans gifted her R500k
Former Big Brother Mzansi contestant Ashley Ogle has been left speechless and emotional after receiving an unexpected financial gift from her supporters.
Since her exit from the reality show, Ogle launched a GoFundMe page, and this weekend, her fans responded in a big way.
Ashley was presented with a cheque worth half a million rand during a surprise moment captured on video and shared by one of her fans on X (formerly Twitter).
The heartfelt post read: “Ashley Ogle, I cried when you cried. Your strength, your heart—it’s all so inspiring. Just know I’m here, always supporting you. You’re going to keep shining and excelling, and I can’t wait to watch you soar.”
Alongside the R500K cheque, Ogle also received a new car from a Sandton dealership, R10,000 for petrol, and a R5,000 Zara clothing voucher courtesy of her East African fanbase.
Speaking to Daily Sun, the influencer admitted she was completely caught off guard. “I froze and got weak in the knees. I didn’t expect this at all,” she said.
The public display of generosity has touched many, with social media users pouring in with well-wishes. One supporter wrote, “May God bless you abundantly, actually you are blessed already. You are really appreciated!” Another added, “May every door you knock on be opened for you. Thank you.”
