An Amazon delivery driver has been fired after being caught on home surveillance cameras defecating and urinating on customers’ properties in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.
The incidents occurred early on Mother’s Day, with footage showing the driver relieving herself on a stairway and within a neighbour’s gated area while delivering packages.
Amazon responded swiftly, identifying and removing the driver from service, and issued an apology to the affected customers.
The footage, captured on cameras, showed the driver pulling up her pants after defecating on a customer’s porch.
In another instance, she was seen urinating within a neighbour’s gated area, appearing to make eye contact with the camera.
The incidents have sparked outrage among residents and online viewers.
Amazon stated, “We’re deeply disturbed by the unacceptable behavior of this delivery driver and apologise to the customers involved. We immediately identified the driver and they are no longer delivering on behalf of Amazon.”
The company has reached out to the affected customers to offer apologies and assistance with any necessary cleanup.
The driver’s identity has not been disclosed.
The incident has raised concerns about the conduct of third-party delivery personnel and the importance of maintaining professional standards in customer service.
