In 2024, many creatives from all aspects of the entertainment industry broke out into the scene, introducing us to great music and films. It’s safe to say that the industry opened this year.

From swaying our hips side to side to celebrating upcoming movie stars, dreams came through for some people as they even landed international gigs.

With the internet dominating most of these industries it’s no doubt that social media platforms don’t play a role in you becoming an overnight sensation.

It showed us that you should always chase your dreams no matter what life throws at you and not give up till you get there.

In no particular order, here are some of the 2024 rising stars:

Since making her international debut this year, she has gained millions of followers globally and also won about 24 awards nationally and internationally. She has also taken up space in the fashion game as she earned her wings at the Victoria Fashion Show.

The Wishi Wishi hitmaker made the most of this year, as since his single broke out he has been topping the charts in becoming a sensation. There’s no doubt that Scotts Maphuma isn’t fully booked this festive.

 

  3. Katlego Lebogang

Actress Katlego Lebogang has been doing the most on streaming platforms Netflix and Showmax Originals with her acting skills. Katlego also won an NFTV award for her performance in her shows.

4. Grace Mondlana

Award-winning content creator Grace has been taking up space in the digital world, as she has gained massive popularity with internet users on all her platforms. Grace also won her first award at the DSTV Content Creator Awards for her impact on the industry.

5.  Zee Nxumalo 

Amapiano star Zee Nxumalo is another artist running the charts in 2024. From her dance challenges to her music and her outfits, she did the most.
