THREE WAYS TO KEEP WARM DURING A POWER OUTAGE
When a power outage strikes, staying warm can be quite a challenge. Here are three ways to keep warm during a power outage.
- Make sure that you wrap yourself in two or more blankets. According to thesurvivalmom, place your blankets around your waist or under your arms. Also, be mindful of overheating to avoid excessive sweating.
- Stay warm by wearing gloves and cosy/fluffly shoes, or you can use your pockets to keep your hands warm if you don’t have gloves.
- Use candles to get that little extra heat. If you feel that candles are not keeping you warm enough, consider lighting a fire in a fireplace or outdoors, where you can gather together with family to stay warm.
