The police in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, are currently searching for the individuals responsible for shooting two people at a liquor store in Dwarsloop on Thursday night and stealing another man’s car.
The Mpumalanga police commissioner, Lt-Gen Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, has expressed her determination to apprehend the perpetrators of this “horrific” crime.

According to the police, one of the victims, who was approximately 40 years old, had purchased items from the liquor store and was outside with his friends when armed men suddenly appeared and shot him multiple times.
Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The lifeless body of the second victim, believed to be around 35 years old, was discovered nearby with a gunshot wound to the back.
Additionally, it has been reported that after the indiscriminate shooting, the suspects hijacked a Toyota Hilux in which another victim was seated. The victim was later released by the suspects along the way.
